A neurosurgeon clinic in San Antonio will permanently escape a medical malpractice lawsuit Wednesday, after a Texas court of appeals rejected the plaintiff’s argument that a Covid-19 emergency order excused her from filing her expert report within the legal deadline.
Neurological Associates of San Antonio PA was sued by Araceli Torres, a patient who underwent surgery at the clinic. The surgery was allegedly done improperly and left Torres with pain and permanent disfigurement.
