A federal jury convicted a Texas doctor on charges related to a $70 million Medicare fraud scheme involving unnecessary orthotic braces and genetic tests.
David M. Young, 61, of Fredericksburg, was found guilty of one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud and three counts of making false statements related to health care matters, the US Justice Department said in a statement Friday.
