Tennessee’s ability to impose a 48-hour delay on women seeking abortions in the state will be determined by the entire Sixth Circuit, the federal appeals court said.
Bristol Regional Women’s Center and other providers are trying to hang on to a win over the state in litigation alleging the delay law unduly burdens a woman’s right to end a pregnancy before viability. A federal judge permanently blocked it in October 2020.
