Teledoc Health Inc., a leading provider of telemedicine services, is facing a proposed class action in federal court in New York over the accessibility of its website to blind and visually impaired people.

Cedric Bishop is a legally blind man who needs screen-reading software to use website content on his computer. He sued Teledoc Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleging it has failed to adopt technology that would make its website independently usable for people in his situation.
