Human resources professionals increasingly are looking to the latest technology innovations to manage employee performance and reduce health care expenses, according to experts interviewed by BNA.
Many employers are replacing the traditional paper processes with an online forum, Shawn Jenkins, chief executive officer of software provider Benefitfocus, told BNA June 7. In the coming years, he said, HR will need to address how technology can be accessed by employees and their families from various entry points, such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
