Survey Ranks Top EHR, EMR Vendors According to Feedback From Early Adopters

According to a new survey from Black Book Rankings, early adopters of electronic health records and electronic medical records have identified the top vendors based on cost, ease of implementation, and ability to achieve “meaningful use.”

Black Book Rankings, a division of Brown-Wilson Group Inc. and an opinion research company, surveyed 30,000 health care records professionals, physician practice administrators, and hospital leaders in the information technology arenas to determine which vendors ranked highly in satisfaction, according to a Nov. 29 press release.

Top vendors cited by the survey include Cerner, Allscripts, Abraxas Medical Solutions, Eclipsys, Ingenix, McKesson, and GE Healthcare, ...
