State EHR Alliance Selects Technology Vendors for Computerized Records Services

ANCHORAGE, Alaska—The Alaska Electronic Health Record Alliance has reached agreements with two vendors to provide computerized records services to the state’s physicians, clinics, and other health providers.

The alliance has finalized contracts with two companies—e-Mds Inc. and Greenway Medical Technologies Inc.—to provide information services for Alaska doctors, clinics, and other health care organizations, Alaska EHR Alliance Executive Director Linda Boochever said April 27.

The companies were chosen from among 250 vendors initially screened, Boochever said. The selection was made by a 15-member task force appointed by the alliance, and the vetting process included a workshop last September at which potential ...
