Sam Saunders joined Simpson Thacher & Bartlett as a partner in its banking and credit practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.
Saunders focuses on the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects and businesses, and has experience across the lifecycle of energy and infrastructure development and finance. His clients include both private equity and strategic investors as well as developers and lenders across a diverse portfolio of financings, the firm said.
He joins from Kirkland & Ellis.
