Three San Francisco nurses who failed to show for scheduled depositions were dismissed from their long-running overtime lawsuit against the city as a sanction for their attorney’s “flagrant” failures to comply with deadlines and meet discovery obligations.

The compliance failures of Prometheus Partners LLP‘s Eduardo G. Roy warrant sanctions under Rules of Federal Civil Procedure 37, Judge Richard Seeborg said Sept. 5, granting the municipality’s request for relief.
