RollinsNelson LTC Corp. and others have settled a whistleblower’s nearly eight-year False Claims Act suit alleging that the company billed Medicare for medically unnecessary hospital admissions.
RollinsNelson and Jane Winter, a former director at a California hospital, filed a stipulation to dismiss with the US District Court for the Central District of California on June 17. Judge John F. Walter dismissed the suit in a Tuesday order.
Terms of the settlement weren’t made available.
