The Trump administration unveiled a new federal health-care advisory committee Thursday featuring a range of health and tech leaders from the public and private sector, including motivational coach Tony Robbins and a Florida-based Republican donor.
The Department of Health and Human Services interviewed more than 400 candidates for the board, Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., said in a video released Thursday. The 18-person volunteer panel will help the administration in “improving, strengthening and modernizing U.S. healthcare,” according to a press release.
The panel will convene at some point this year.
