Purdue Pharma to Face Whistle-Blower Lawsuit After Supreme Court Denial

Purdue Pharma LP’s petition to the Supreme Court to block a false claims whistle-blower suit was denied June 1 (Purdue Pharma LP v. United States ex rel. May, U.S., 13-1162, review denied 6/1/15).

Purdue filed its petition March 25, seeking review of a U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit decision that revived False Claims Act allegations brought by a former Purdue sales representative, Steven May, and Angela Radcliffe, the wife of a relator in a previous whistle-blower suit.
