Chamber’s Drug Price Lawsuit Can’t Move Forward, HHS Argues

The Department of Health and Human Services filed late Friday a reply in support of its request to dismiss the drug price negotiation challenge from the US Chamber of Commerce and some of its state affiliates.

The action is the department’s first move since the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released the list of the 10 Medicare Part D drugs that will have to lower their costs starting in 2026 after government negotiations.
