The University of Pittsburgh and Cook Myosite Inc. are working to finalize a deal to end a lawsuit over patented technology used in regenerative medicine to treat various muscle-related disorders, according to a court filing.
Pitt and the Cook Group Inc. subsidiary reached an agreement to resolve the suit’s claims and will file a dismissal request or joint status report on the settlement by April 17, according to a notice filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
