Philadelphia Medicare Provider Again Stops Whistleblower’s Suit

A Philadelphia operator of treatment facilities for disabled individuals showed that a False Claims Act whistleblower failed to correct problems in a previously dismissed complaint alleging improper Medicare and Medicaid billing, a Pennsylvania federal court said.

Sarah Taylor’s amended complaint against Comhar Inc. failed to allege with required particularity that services weren’t provided or were substandard, Judge Gerald Austin McHugh of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said in a Tuesday opinion dismissing the suit with prejudice.
