Pfizer Sues Five Generic-Drug Makers to Block Copies of Eucrisa

Pfizer’s Anacor filed five lawsuits claiming generic versions of Eucrisa proposed by Alkem, Dr. Reddy’s, Macleods, Padagis Israel and Teva infringe patents related to the ointment, used to treat mild to moderate eczema.

  • Pfizer is seeking court orders blocking copies until patents have expired and cash compensation if copies are made before then, according to complaints filed Friday in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware
