Pence Says Hospitals to Be Paid for Uninsured Covid-19 Patients

Some of the $100 billion in federal funds earmarked to help hospitals cope with the coronavirus pandemic will cover bills for the uninsured, Vice President Mike Pence said Thursday.

“We don’t want any Americans to worry about the cost of getting a test, the cost of getting treatment,” Pence told reporters Thursday at the White House.
