Pa.'s Birth Control Mandate Fight Goes Back to Trial Court

Pennsylvania’s legal fight to block expanded opt outs for employers with religious or moral objections to Obamacare’s birth control mandate needn’t be delayed any longer, a federal trial court said.

The decision means the case returns to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, where it’s been pending since the district court blocked enforcement of interim final rules issue by the Trump administration in October 2017.
