A medical oxygen tank supplier has agreed to pay $11.4 million to settle a whistle-blower lawsuit alleging it submitted fraudulent claims to Medicare for home oxygen and related equipment (United States ex rel. Alcaine v. Braden Partners LP, N.D. Cal., 4:10-cv-04597-PJH, settlement announced 4/25/17).
