An anti-abortion advocacy group doesn’t have to comply with an Oregon law requiring employee health plans to pay for abortion and contraceptive care to the same extent they cover pregnancy and childbirth, a federal judge said.
Judge Mustafa T. Kasubhai granted Oregon Right to Life summary judgment in a brief docket entry following a motion hearing Tuesday. A written order explaining his reasoning will follow, the US District Court for the District of Oregon judge said.
