Oracle Seeks Help From HHS in Oregon Exchange Dispute

Oracle America Inc. is seeking to force the HHS to intercede and stop Oregon from suing the company over its role in the state’s failed health insurance exchange (Oracle Am., Inc. v. Burwell, D.D.C., 1:16-cv-451, complaint filed 3/8/16).

The lawsuit comes in the wake of multiple lawsuits between the computing services company and the state, with Oracle seeking $23 million in unpaid bills for its role in the creation of the failed “Cover Oregon” health insurance exchange portal 22 HCPR 1312, 8/18/14, 155 DER A-11, 8/12/14, 06 HITR 10, 8/18/14, 155 HCDR, 8/12/14, 20 HPPR 14, 8/13/14.
