Optum Introduces Cloud-Based System To Improve Health Information Access

ST. PAUL, Minn.—Optum Feb. 14 announced it is launching a cloud-based service aimed at improving health care information connectivity and efficiency.

The company, part of UnitedHealth Group of Minnetonka, Minn., said the system should enable all participants in health care, from patients to hospitals to health plans, to have greater access to health care information.

The ability to gather information should allow for better communication and cost savings, the company said.
