Fenix Internet LLC, a US company affiliated with OnlyFans Ltd., convinced an Illinois federal judge to dismiss a proposed class action alleging its automated age and identity verification process violate the state’s biometric privacy law.
Judge Nancy L. Maldonado found the plaintiffs didn’t establish the court’s personal jurisdiction or successfully refute Fenix’s argument that it has no involvement in the OnlyFans verification processes, according to the order filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
