Only Some NJOY E-Cigarettes Can Remain on Market, FDA Says

Four e-cigarette products made by NJOY Inc. can remain on the market, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said as part of a sweeping review of vape devices.

The agency said Tuesday that NJOY’s Ace Device and three pods with tobacco can be legally marketed in the U.S. Meanwhile, it denied other products, and said applications for two menthol-related products remain under review.

The FDA has yet to rule on the more popular vape products from Juul Labs Inc., and it’s widely expected to announce a proposed ban on menthol in cigarettes this week. The agency’s review of e-cigarettes ...
