Foundations Health Solutions Inc. won’t have to answer a podiatrist’s claims that it accepted kickbacks, leading it to submit false claims for reimbursement from Medicare.
Barbara Petkovic’s False Claims Act suit can’t advance because she didn’t give specific examples of times the nursing home manager allegedly accepted free services or products from a mobile health provider in exchange for referrals, then billed Medicare for them, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio said Jan. 17.
