NY Ambulette Owners Plead to $8.6 Million in Medicaid Kickbacks

Father and son co-owners of a New York-based ambulette company pleaded guilty to an $8.6 million health-care kickback scheme.

An ambulette is a specially equipped van for transporting disabled or convalescent passengers in nonemergency circumstances.

Igor Radinovskiy, 60, and his son Aleksandr Radinovskiy, 37, owners of Sabe Ambulette Services Inc, falsely billed for Medicaid transportation services and filed false tax returns reporting the kickbacks as legitimate business expenses, according to a criminal complaint filed Sept. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
