Nuns whose mission is to provide health care to the elderly poor will have a seat at the table to defend a Trump administration religious freedom initiative.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit April 24 said the Little Sisters of the Poor can join the administration in defending an interim final rule that exempts entities having religious objections from complying with Obamacare’s contraceptive mandate. The mandate requires employers to provide their employees with no-cost health coverage for contraceptive products and services.
