NEW YORK—A New York City pharmacist has been sentenced to a prison term of six-and-a-half years to 13 years for his conviction on charges that he stole more than $1.8 million from Medicaid in less than a year through false prescription drug billings, Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. announced March 6 (People v. Alcindor).
