Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R) March 24 signed legislation that will prohibit women from seeking abortions based on the race or sex of the fetus.
Sponsored by Rep. Casey Cox (R), H.B. 1337 also will prohibit women from seeking abortions because the fetus has been diagnosed with a disability, such as Down syndrome.
