Nestlé Waters North America tries to “scare” former employees away from remaining on the company’s health plan in violation of federal law, according to a proposed class action filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
The lawsuit, filed Tuesday by former Nestlé employee Ryon York, claims the notices Nestlé sends workers informing them of their right to continued health coverage don’t satisfy the requirements of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act.
