Natural Health Group Challenges FDA Review of Homeopathic Drugs

An alliance advocating for patient access to natural health products is challenging the FDA’s determination that homeopathic drugs are subject to the agency’s premarket approval.

The Food and Drug Administration’s move to alter its policy regarding homeopathic drugs and treat them the same way as conventional drugs is unlawful, the Alliance for Natural Health USA and a homeopathic drug company, Meditrend Inc., wrote Monday in a complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
