More Health Professionals Can Administer Vaccine Without Liability

A variety of additional health professionals—midwives, paramedics, and dentists—can now administer Covid-19 vaccines without being held liable for harms, according to a regulatory change from the HHS Thursday.

The Department of Health and Human Services expanded the liability shield to include those professionals and physician assistants, eye doctors, and veterinarians who are licensed or who have been licensed in any state within the past five years.
