Moderna Inc.’s chief commercial officer is leaving the company as part of a leadership change aimed at boosting sales of its Covid shot and launching its RSV vaccine next year.
Arpa Garay is expected to leave Moderna in the coming months and will remain an adviser during the transition, the company said Tuesday. She joined in May 2022 after 16 years at Merck & Co.
Moderna Chief Executive Officer Stephane Bancel will assume responsibility for sales and marketing next year, while Moderna President Stephen Hoge will lead pipeline commercial strategy and medical affairs, the company said.
