Mobile Nursing Home Provider Settles Fraud Allegations for $4.5M

Nursing home services provider Mobile Medical Inc., doing business as OnSight Health Care, will pay $4.5 million to settle allegations that it submitted false claims to Medicare and paid kickbacks to nursing homes in exchange for Medicare referrals, under a Dec. 15 agreement with the federal government and four whistle-blowers (United States ex rel. Petkovic v. Mobile Medical, Inc., N.D. Ohio, 5:10-cv-2846, settlement 12/15/15).
