Minnesota’s legal battle with the Trump administration over hundreds of millions in Medicaid funds is on pause following claims from the state and federal government that they may be able to resolve the dispute outside the courtroom.
Judge Eric C. Tostrud’s granting of the parties’ joint motion to stay pauses Minnesota’s lawsuit against the administration for trying to defer over $240 million in Medicaid payments to the state. The parties are slated to update the court Sept. 3 on the status of proceedings.
