Minnesota Dems to Spar Over Medicaid Fraud in Oversight Hearing

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison are testifying at what is sure to be a combative House oversight hearing Wednesday as the Trump administration is threatening billions in federal Medicaid dollars.

The two Democrats and the state they represent have been a flashpoint in President Donald Trump’s aggressive immigration enforcement push and efforts to freeze or cut funding for multiple social programs, including Medicaid, due to allegations of fraud.
