A Minnesota group opposed to abortion failed to convince the state’s top court to allow it help defend state laws that have been blocked since 2022.
The Minnesota Supreme Court Wednesday denied without opinion the group’s petition for review of a Feb. 12 decision by the Minnesota Court of Appeals. That decision affirmed a trial court’s refusal to allow the group, Mothers Offering Maternal Support, to intervene in the case. The underlying lawsuit was filed in the Minnesota District Court for Ramsey County in May 2019 by an unidentified doctor.
