MiMedx CEO Resigns After Federal Probe, Earnings Restatement (1)

MiMedx Group Inc. Chief Executive Officer Parker “Pete” Petit will step down following external and internal investigations of the medical-product company’s sales tactics and government contracts.

The CEO will also give up his position as chairman of the board, though will stay on as a director. Chief Operating Officer and President William Taylor is also resigning, the company said in a statement Monday.
