A state appeals court Jan. 29 derailed claims in three consolidated lawsuits based on allegations that a physician falsely diagnosed several minor patients with epilepsy/seizure disorder for the purpose of increasing his billings (Lucas v. Awaad, Mich. Ct. App., 292785, 1/29/13).
