Medicare beneficiaries will see their Part A deductibles increase next year, while their standard Part B premiums remain the same.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced Nov. 17 the annual deductible patients pay when they are admitted to inpatient hospitals will be $1,340 in 2018, up $24 from the previous year. The standard monthly premium for Part B services, like physician services and outpatient hospitals, will be $134, the same as 2017.
