A Miami law firm has upended the no-fault auto insurance industry with a string of key legal victories in litigation designed to recover at least $70 billion owed to Medicare managed care insurers.
The MSP Recovery Law Firm, which secured a significant appellate victory in 2016, has since succeeded in having several class actions certified against numerous auto insurers that allegedly failed to reimburse Medicare Advantage (MA) insurers as required by the Medicare Secondary Payer Act (MSP). Those victories have allowed the firm to file thousands of more lawsuits, at least 60 so far in August alone.
