Medicare Insurer Files Fresh Quality Ratings Suit Against HHS

Zing Health Inc. is taking a second swing at forcing the Department of Health and Human Services to help rectify the economic damage it says it suffered as a result of an improper termination from the Medicare Advantage program.

The insurer sued the HHS, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and CMS Administrator Mehmet Oz Wednesday, arguing the agencies have not taken proper steps to make Zing whole after it was booted from the Medicare Advantage program over low quality ratings in 2024.
