Electronic health records software maker Greenway Health LLC joined a pediatric practice group in calling on a federal trial court to preliminarily approve a class settlement that provides a $26 million fund to remedy losses caused by allegedly deficient programs.
The settlement is fair, reasonable, and adequate, Greenway told the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Altamonte Pediatric Associates sued Greenway under the Florida Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act. It alleged the software maker misrepresented that its Intergy product complied with regulatory standards for the federal government’s “meaningful use” program.
