State Medicaid directors can help beneficiaries who lose coverage during the pandemic unwinding process to stay covered with Obamacare plans, according to a blueprint released by the CMS.
The guidelines from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services aim to help states trying to aid beneficiaries who are expected to lose Medicaid coverage when measures guaranteeing eligibility during the pandemic expire April 1 under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, the massive congressional spending bill signed in December.
