A Biden administration proposal is being lauded for its attempt to address longstanding problems with access to care for Medicaid beneficiaries covered under managed care plans.
Advocates welcomed the recent proposed rule (RIN: 0938-AU99) from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and said its steps for greater transparency and accountability from the private companies that operate Medicaid managed care plans should help beneficiaries get the care they need when they need it.
