The Biden administration has laid out a timetable for states preparing to resume eligibility checks for enrollees in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program.
The guidance from Daniel Tsai, deputy administrator and director for the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services, outlines the types of documentation the agency will require states to provide as Medicaid programs across the country begin unwinding from the Covid-19 public health emergency.
