Medi-Cal Plan, Providers Settle Alleged False Claims Violations

Ventura County Medi-Cal Managed Care Commission, Ventura County, Dignity Health, and Clinicas del Camino Real Inc. have agreed to pay a total of $70.7 million in three separate settlements regarding the alleged submission of false claims to Medi-Cal related to Medicaid Adult Expansion under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the Department of Justice announced Thursday.
