The Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company and pharmacy benefit manager EmsanaRx are collaborating on a drug discount program for employers, the entities announced Thursday.
The new program, EmsanaRx Plus, is “a first-of-its-kind supplemental drug discount product designed specifically for employers as a standalone pipeline for lower-cost medicines that have been contracted directly with drug manufacturers by Cost Plus Drugs,” the organizations said in a statement. The partnership gives employers with self-funded drug benefit plans through EmsanaRx access to low-cost drugs through Cost Plus Drugs.
