Mallinckrodt ARD Faces Complaint Over Achtar Medicaid Rebates

Mallinckrodt ARD LLC faces a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts over rebates through the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program for the medication Acthar Gel, Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey said.

• Massachusetts and 27 other states and territories filed a complaint Friday to intervene in a case originally filed in September 2018 under the whistleblower provision of the False Claims Act
• The complaint alleges Mallinckrodt knowingly underpaid rebates
