Lilly to Sell Additional 150,000 Doses of Covid Antibody to US

Eli Lilly & Co. will supply the US with an additional 150,000 doses of its Covid-19 antibody that remains effective for treating omicron and its subvariants for about $275 million.

With the new purchase, the government’s existing supply of bebtelovimab is estimated to remain sufficient through the end of August, Indianapolis-based Lilly said Wednesday in a statement. Delivery will begin immediately and be completed by Aug. 5.
